Mental Health Occupational Therapist | 3-5 Days Per Week | Immediate Start Available
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Locum Occupational Therapist to join a specialist mental health provider in Nottinghamshire. This ongoing contract offers excellent flexibility, with both part-time and full-time hours available, although applicants must be able to commit to a minimum of three days per week.
Working as part of a well-established multidisciplinary team, you’ll play a key role in supporting service users through assessment, rehabilitation and recovery-focused interventions. An immediate start is available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
- Carry out comprehensive occupational therapy assessments.
- Deliver person-centred interventions and rehabilitation programmes.
- Facilitate therapeutic groups and meaningful activities.
- Work closely with psychologists, psychiatrists, nursing staff and the wider MDT.
- Promote recovery, independence and positive outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records.
Requirements
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Previous experience within mental health, rehabilitation, secure or inpatient settings is desirable.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an MDT.
- Availability to work at least three days per week.
