Locum Occupational Therapist – Mental Health (3 Days per Week)
Location: West Yorkshire (inpatient mental health service)
Duration: Ongoing
Schedule: 3 days per week (flexible days)
Mentalia Locums are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a supportive multidisciplinary team within an established inpatient mental health setting.
You’ll be working across a caseload of adults presenting with a range of mental health conditions, helping to deliver recovery-focused interventions and support structured discharge planning.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive occupational assessments and develop treatment plans.

Deliver 1:1 and group-based interventions promoting independence and meaningful activity.

Work collaboratively with Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Nurses, and Support Staff.

Contribute to care reviews and MDT meetings, offering occupationally informed insight.

Maintain accurate documentation in line with service and HCPC standards.
Requirements

HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.

Experience within mental health or secure settings (inpatient experience desirable).

Strong MDT communication and time-management skills.

Enhanced DBS (Mentalia can assist with new applications).
