An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Locum Psychologist to join a specialist inpatient service in Cheshire, supporting adults with eating disorders within a highly therapeutic environment. Working as part of an established multidisciplinary team, you’ll play a key role in delivering evidence-based psychological interventions and supporting patients through their recovery journey.
This ongoing contract offers a consistent three-day working week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) and would suit a Psychologist looking for a long-term locum opportunity with an immediate start available.

Responsibilities
- Deliver psychological assessments and evidence-based interventions.
- Provide individual and group therapy to adults with eating disorders.
- Formulate and review treatment plans in collaboration with the wider MDT.
- Support service users throughout their recovery and rehabilitation journey.
- Contribute to risk assessments and clinical reviews.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and reports in accordance with HCPC standards.
Requirements
- HCPC registration as a Clinical, Counselling or Practitioner Psychologist.
- Previous experience within eating disorders, acute inpatient, rehabilitation or mental health settings is desirable.
- Strong formulation and therapeutic skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Availability to work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
