Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership and day-to-day management of the children’s home.
- Ensure the service operates in line with Ofsted standards and Children’s Homes Regulations.
- Promote positive outcomes and safeguard the welfare of children and young people.
- Lead, supervise and develop a dedicated care team.
- Maintain excellent standards of quality, compliance and care delivery.
- Manage budgets, staffing and operational performance.
- Build strong relationships with local authorities, families and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Previous experience within children’s residential services.
- Experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager or Children’s Home Manager.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
- Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
